So far, 2024 has been a year of historic milestones for Young Catholic Professionals. A bigger-than-ever National Conference, a new Executive Director, and now reaching 40 chapters nationwide… YCP is soaring to new heights!

YCP South Central Pennsylvania launched on January 26th with an epic event at the Pennsylvania Capitol building. His Excellency, Bishop Timothy C. Senior of the Diocese of Harrisburg, gave a special address to over 160 young Catholics in attendance.

“The YCP South Central PA launch on January 26th brought together close to 200 Catholics from all corners of the Harrisburg Diocese.  It was incredible to see the joy and excitement from everyone there for the event and for the future of the YCP Chapter.  Since the launch party, our chapter has hosted 7 events in 4 different small cities throughout the region. YCP has been a great addition to the young adult community within our Diocese and we are truly blessed by the support we've gotten from the Diocese, our Board, our donors, and our Chaplains.”

YCP Indianapolis launched on May 23rd, right before the city welcomes hundreds of thousands of Catholics to the National Eucharistic Congress in July. Nearly 180 young Catholics came out to the Randolph H. Deer Special Events Pavilion to celebrate this launch, with special remarks from Peter Blute, Executive Director of YCP.

“Launching YCP Indy a couple of months before hosting the National Eucharistic Congress indicates that God is on the move in our beloved city. The excitement at the launch party shows that even in a faith-filled and active Archdiocese, YCP fills a gap. I’m thankful for our talented, enthusiastic team and the generosity of our board. I’m excited for all that is to come as our chapter grows!”
